MITSUBISHI L 300 2.0
Specifications:
It has everything you need to get out and about immediately, with a large bed that converts into a living area with a table. In the rear, there's a covered kitchen with a refrigerator and water tap. We loved the windows for ventilation and enjoying the views. This layout offers plenty of storage space compared to other L300s. The electrical system works wonderfully, with an auxiliary battery that's charged by both a solar panel on the roof and the vehicle's alternator.
We've created some short videos to showcase the van:

tires. - April 2025: Brake check
- March 2025: A professional vehicle electrician wired the refrigerator directly to the fuse box using a thick cable. This solved a common problem with Alpicool: refrigerators: the thin cable from the cigarette lighter plug and a poor connection cause voltage drops.
- March 2025: 2 new tires
- March 2025: Oil and filter change (at 246,000 km)
- January 2025: Replacement of universal joints
- January 2025: Thorough inspection of the van. It was found to be in good mechanical condition, but the universal joints needed replacing. It was recommended to regularly check the oil levels and top up with 10W-40 motor oil (in 3 months of travel, I only had to top up a small amount once).
- December 2024: General inspection of the van (electrical system and engine in good condition), new front tires, oil and filter change, new windshield, new 12V socket in the rear.
- March 2024: Engine rebuild.
